My refrigerator is making noise - is that normal?
The following noises are completely normal:
- Humming sound => Motors are running (e.g., cooling units, fan).
- Bubbling, whirring, or gurgling sound => Refrigerant is flowing through the pipes.
- Clicking sound => Motor, switch, or solenoid valves are turning on/off.
- Cracking => Automatic defrosting has been completed.
Noises that can be resolved:
- The cabinet is not stable => Adjust the cabinet correctly using a spirit level. Adjust the screw feet or place something underneath.
- The cabinet is touching other furniture => Move the cabinet so that it does not touch furniture or similar items.
- Containers or shelves are not positioned correctly or are jammed => Check the removable parts and, if necessary, position them correctly.
- Are bottles or containers touching each other inside the appliance? => In this case, ensure there is space between each bottle and container.
