Can I simply flip my sink—or do I need to buy a specific right- or left-handed model?

Some sinks are symmetrical—and therefore reversible. If the sink is not reversible, the terms “right” or “left” are used to describe it. This refers to the side of the model where the sink (and in the case of multiple sinks, the main bowl) is located.
