A sugary liquid has boiled over and melted onto the glass—what should I do?
- Remove the stains from melted food residues or sugary spills as quickly as possible. If allowed to cool on the glass, it can be difficult to remove and may cause permanent damage to the glass surface.
- Use, for example, a fish knife, spatula, or razor blade scraper that is suitable for glass induction cooktops, but be mindful of the hot surfaces of the cooking zones.
- Scrape the dirt or spill towards a cooler area on the cooktop.
- Wipe the dirt or spill away with a dishcloth or a piece of paper towel.
